Shopping local is a big part of sustainability. That is why we shop for our ingredients close to home. Our recipes rely heavily on lard, tallow, goat milk, beeswax and honey as these are found in abundance right here in Whatcom and Skagit counties. The rosemary leaves, lavender flowers, lavender essential oil, and sometimes even elderberries we use are Pacific Northwest grown, and our trusty olive oil comes from Northern California. We buy our more exotic ingredients from local Bellingham retailers who in turn do their part by supplying quality fair trade products
